Kendall’s Graduation+Oregon Coast Trip!

Kendall graduated over the weekend! First off, I just want to say how proud of him I am! He worked so hard.  He was going to school full-time (all online), working full-time, helping out at our church and working on a school internship all at the same time. It got a little crazy there for awhile! But he did it! He graduated! We made a trip out of his graduation because it was close to the Oregon coast and of course, we had to do some celebrating!

Now for the picture overload!

The first few days of our trip we were in Portland visiting Kendall’s dad in the hospital. One of the days we walked around a few neighborhoods and went to go grab some food! This picture was just taken while walking around exploring.

Our next stop was Seaside!

We took this trip end of April, beginning of May so everything was in full bloom. It was so fun to see all of the colorful trees and flowers. These cherry tree blossoms were my favorite.

My best friend and travel buddy! We both always have so much fun traveling and exploring new places.

This Sandwich was so good! It was from a place called Seaside Coffee Roasters. I would link their website but they don’t have one. I still wanted to share though because we went there three times! We mostly went there to get coffee and smoothies in the morning, but we did end up eating there once and everything was so good! Definitely worth checking out if you are ever in Seaside, Oregon.

One of the days we went to Astoria. We went to the Astoria Column and walked all the way up to the top! It made me realize how out of shape I was. haha

Such a beautiful lookout in Astoria. Everything was so green!

Our next stop was Cannon Beach! The day we went to Cannon Beach was so beautiful. The weather was perfect and it was sunny all day! We really couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Kendall walking on the beach!

We of course had to grab some ice cream! It’a tradition when we go on a trip. ๐Ÿ™‚ Kendall always gets a cone and I always get a bowl. I don’t trust myself with a cone because I am way too messy, I know for a fact it would end up either on my shirt or on the floor. haha

The last day in Seaside we borrowed a couple of bikes from our hotel and rode them along the beach. We also got to watch the sunset while riding the bikes so it was a win win!

We went to a restaurant called Tora Sushi Lounge. It had some of the best Sushi. As you can see from the picture, the rolls were huge. But Kendall and I had no trouble finishing every last bite!

Our last two stops of our trip were Mossyrock, Washington and Kirkland Washington. Kendall grew up in Mossyrock, WA so it is always been fun to go back and visit. He took me to a tulip field because he knew I would love seeing all of the flowers in bloom and he was right! I spent some time taking pictures of the flowers, which was a huge highlight of the trip for me.

So much color! I could go back here every spring!

Kendall’s graduation was our last stop! He is so talented and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. I have no doubt in my mind he is going to do incredible things for God’s kingdom.

After his graduation, we went to a friend’s house and celebrated Kendall.

Kendall’s cousin, Lucas was there and it was actually prom night for him! So I snapped a few photos of him and his date. They were such a fun couple as you can see from the photos. ๐Ÿ˜‰

So, there you have it! Just a few highlights from our trip. We had so much fun and I could honestly go back and visit any one of the spots we went to, especially the Sushi resteraunt. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Let me know in the comments if you have ever gone to Oregon and what your favorite places were to visit while you were there.
