Over the weekend Kendall and I had the opportunity to take engagement photos for Joy and Terry! The first time I met them, was the day of the shoot and I have to say, after a few minutes of talking with them/taking pictures for them, I felt like I had known them for years! They were so fun and their smiles were contagious.
Our first location for photos was a farmer’s market. I just love all things fall and it was so fun to get a few pictures of them with apples, pumpkins and corn stalks. I also have to note that we got extremely lucky because the weather was perfect on Sunday, we really couldn’t have asked for a better day in October. Anyway, below are some of the pictures we got at the farmer’s market!
I was so lucky to be able to shoot these two. They really did make it easy. They were laughing and having fun the whole shoot! 🙂
I always have to get a shot of the ring!
The second Location still had some fall color on the trees/bushes so this might have been my favorite location of the day!
I love the sign they brought with them. I thought it made for the perfect prop for their photos!
The third location wasn’t planned but Joy was telling me the story of how they met in Fred Meyer’s and well let’s just say… we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a couple shots in the store. 😉
The last location was in the canyon. Joy really wanted to get a picture with the bridge in the background, so we hurried down into the canyon and got a few pictures right before sunset. It was gorgeous!
After we ended the shoot, we ended up talking outside in front of our cars for awhile about a more detailed version of their story and how they met. I won’t tell the detailed story but the short and condensed version is, that God brought Terry, Joy and the rest is history! 🙂
This engagement shoot had to be one of my favorite shoots because of the weather, the fall colors, the laughter and the stories.I cannot wait to take their wedding photos in December! I just know it’s going to be a beautiful day filled with lots of laughter, smiles and joy!
Thank you for reading and looking through the photos! Let me know in the comments below if you have a favorite photo from this session, I would love to know. 🙂
