    Power and Love Conference

    Kendall and I went to a Power and Love Conference in Boise, Idaho this past week/weekend.  We got back Saturday night and I had to sit down and write some of my biggest takeaways from the conference, because it was amazing! This conference was unique because we had sessions where we heard from speakers but we also had sessions where we were called to live out what we were learning. I am a visual learner so I learn best through the application process. I enjoyed listening to the speakers but I really liked going out and praying, loving and giving to others.     You brought me Joy!

    Over the weekend Kendall and I had the opportunity to take engagement photos for Joy and Terry! The first time I met them, was the day of the shoot and I have to say, after a few minutes of talking with them/taking pictures for them, I felt like I had known them for years! They were so fun and their smiles were contagious. Our first location for photos was a farmer’s market.     Soon to be six! A Family & Maternity Session.

    Kendall and I shot a unique and very fun session over the weekend.  This session was unique because we captured family, maternity and the gender reveal all in one! This was are first time doing all three but it was an absolute blast! We couldn’t have asked for a better family to capture, they were both creative and funny.  So without further explanation let’s get into the pictures!     Don’t You Dare Compare!

    Comparison has been on my heart a lot lately and I think it’s something that so many of us struggle with, especially in a media driven society.  I want to remind you that social media is only a small part of the whole picture and what you see is generally a collection of  the highlights.  I am not against social media, because I think it can be used for good and to help spread love and encouragement.
