    Easter Weekend, 2019!

    Sharing a photo dump from our Easter weekend! I really enjoy all of the holidays but Easter is really special to me. It’s fun to do the egg hunts, dye the eggs and bake cookies but to me, Easter is so much more than that. It’s the day that Jesus was resurrected! It’s such a powerful day.     Rest Is Key. A Review On My Word For 2018 + My New Word For 2019

    For the past couple of years, I have chosen to focus on one to two words to for the year. I used to write down yearly goals, but I decided that focusing on daily goals and a word worked better for me. My word for 2018 was rest.     Power And Love Conference

    Kendall and I went to a Power and Love Conference in Boise, Idaho this past week.  We got back Saturday night and I had to sit down and write some of my biggest takeaways from the conference, because it was amazing! This conference was unique because we had sessions where we heard from speakers, but we also had sessions where we practiced what we were learning. I am a kinesthetic learner, so I learn best through the application process. I enjoyed listening to the speakers, but I really liked going out and praying, loving and giving to others.     Comparison has been on my heart a lot lately and I think it’s something that so many of us struggle with, especially in a social media driven society.  I want to remind you that social media is only a small part of the whole picture and what you see is generally a collection of  the highlights.  I am not against social media, because I think it can be used for good and to help spread love and encouragement.
